Rally Title: Wheels Rally
Dates: Saturday 19th March 2011
Organiser : Peter Sands
Contact Details: Peter Sands – 07860 118328
Description of Rally :
Another year and a new sailing season will soon be upon us so it is time to get our summer rally program in place. As a pre season get together I have arranged a
“Wheels Rally”
@ 1930 hrs
at Nautical Nellies,
located at Universal Marina, on the Hamble River
This give those of you hardy souls with boats afloat the opportunity to arrive by water and the rest of us to arrive by car.
Download the fixed price menu and if you are able to join us please let me have your meal selection before Friday 4th March
What of the rest of the season?
Over the past few years we have enjoyed 5 events spread over the season between April and October and we hope to have a similar program in place for 2011.
The Bembridge rally on 7th May & Lymington rally on 17th September are already in place, thanks to Peter & Sue and Julian & Carolyn so to keep in line with previous years that leaves 3 more events to organise.
If you have always yearned to organise a rally but never had the opportunity, this is your chance or indeed, if you have been good enough to organise rallies in previous years and are happy to again I will be pleased to hear from you.
The dates and the destination are the choice of the rally organiser so the possibilities are endless.
I hope you can join us for the Wheels Rally and look forward to your suggestions for the rally program.

I have confirmed with the marina to expect around ten boats on the Sat 7th August and they have also reserved the use of their marquee by the office for the pre dinner drinks.Sandy is organising some canapes.
I have booked a large table in the upstairs dining room at “The Ship” at Langstone overlooking the harbour-which is a ten minute walk from the marina.
I said I would firm up numbers a week or so before.
Low water is around 1515BST so arrival will be fine an hour either side of then.
Please confirm attendance as early as possible.
